It’s been said that where ever God erects a house of prayer, The Devil builds a chapel there and 2005 was the spawning to Chainsaw Hookers. Hundreds of shows right here in Perth have earned the Hookers’ a loyal following that has seeped further nationwide. Hardcore enthusiasts are seduced not only by the horror/music amalgamation but also by the bands ability to drink beers from footwear and other unmentionable orifices.

2010 saw the release of their debut EP ‘First Blood’. Soon to follow was the retina scorching music videos for ‘Ride the Venom’ and ‘Christine’.

2011 the Chainsaw Hookers were selected by Triple J Unearthed to play a coveted spot of the Soundwave Festival. On a holy roll they followed this up with the release of their self-titled album ‘Chainsaw Hookers’ which was mixed and mastered with Laurie McCallum of SUMO Studios.

The relentless touring, recording and days spent in cramped aircrafts and mini vans was recognised in 2013 when they won the title of Best Punk and Hardcore Act from WAM (West Australian Music).

In 2014 the Chainsaw Hookers asked their loyal fan base to help them achieve their best album yet and the dedicated and loyal hardcore fans did not disappoint. After setting a goal for $10,000 in a crowd funded recording campaign they were blown away when they surpassed their goal and achieved $11,266. In return fans will be rewarded with the ball inking album ‘We Want Your Blood’ which will be released April 10 2015. This little gem of nightmares was also recorded at Sumo Studios by Laurie McCallum and Mastered by infamous Jamal Ruhe at Westside Mastering New York (GWAR, Mastodon, The Misfits). The first single off the album, ‘Make Them Die Slowly’ will be released Friday 13th February.
