Failure Figure is a Punk Unit based out of West Virginia.
Failure Figure was first formed in 2005 by Eddy Slayton and Travis Oliver.
The History of Failure Figure
Starting out as an acoustic side project, singer/songwriter Eddy Slayton started Failure Figure armed with only a handful of simple guitar chords and a composition notebook in early 2005. Over the course of a couple of months, he wrote a collection a songs inspired by love, life, and death. After finishing, he recorded the full length acoustic cd entitled "Blood Guts and Rock n Roll". After seeing some promise, he started searching for the missing members of Failure Figure. Eddy Slayton quickly recruited Travis Oliver. With a guitarist and drummer now in place, the band decided to start playing there local music scene. Soon after, the duo began to pursue the last peice of Failure Figure. Countless line up changes ensued, until bassist Ethan Howard joined the ranks, finally filling the missing void. With their gore-filled songs and aggressive live show, Failure Figure has been making a name for themselves ever since. In January of 2008, Failure Figure released their first studio EP entitled "Hugs Kisses Deathwishes".
