Ruthless pride is a punk band from Montpellier, France, created in 2004 by 4 mates, Niko-guitar/vocals (ex-the stoicks/ex-Anti clockwise), Laurent-vocals (ex-Provok), Anabelle-guitar (ex-Ovules destroy) and Assiat-bass, after many drummers changes, Raf from French Thrash band ZOLDIER NOIZ, keep the function and the band records his first demo, “Troublemakers”, in december 2005. Main influences are the second wave of British punk and oi. Lyrics owe to be direct and easy, dealing with friendship, integrity, violence, pride of being uncommon or the simple fact of taking pleasure in getting drunk and spread the fucking chaos all around. After some gigs in their own town with some local bands, back to studio in february 2006 for the recording of 2 new songs, (“Bloodbath” and “Where can you go?”), just before Laurent and Assiat leave the band for personal reasons. Niko takes vocals and after one year tryin useless bass players, Vincent, also playing with Raf in Zoldier Noiz takes the function for the recording of the second demo in 2008. The CD, limited to 200 copies contains 7 tracks, including 3 old songs from the first demo and a new version of “Where can you go?”. Anabelle leaves the band and She’s replaced by Jessica (ex “Ovules Destroy”).

The album "Underground Brotherhood" out on 4subculture Rds at the end of 2013 with a new line up.
