The Ballistics formed in Houston, Texas in 1996 as a punk rock band. The original line-up included Jake Ballistic-Lead Vocals, Hank Almon-guitar, Jason Sellers-Bass, and Casey Kemp-Drums. There first show was in Pasadena, Tx at the Toronodo Lounge and there would be many more to follow. In 1998 they went through a line-up change. Jason moved to guitar along with Tim Terror. Jake Ballistic was now joined by James parker for vocals. Bass was filled by the almighty Kelly Jacobs. They now had every piece in place to bring a pillaging upon Houston. With this lineup they put a few days work in at sound arts recording studios. They came out with a 10 song album to be released in late 2010 early 2011. In 1999 there line up changed again to include Jake Ballistic-Vocals, Jason Sellers-Guitar, Kelly Jacobs –Bass, and Casey Kemp-Drums. They recorded Sick Earth in June of 2000. From 1996-2004 they played many shows supporting touring and national acts. Drawing influence from many areas of punk rock and hardcore there music is a direct reflection of those bands past and present. 2010 has The Ballistics feeling the urge to go at again. New memeber Greg will be on guitar with Jake Ballistic- Vocals, James Parker-Vocals, Tim Terror-Guitar, Kelly Jacobs-Bass, and Casey Kemp-Drums . More shows and music to come…….
