Three Chamber Heart is an original hard rock trio from San Diego,CA. threechamberheart was formed during the summer of 2015 with a group of friends and past members of various projects surrounding Three Chamber Heart bassist Nick Ewing-Pistelak. The 3CH line up consists of Jonathan Schoon, primary song writer, lead vox and guitartist (Jonathan is former drummer/lead vox for Cardboard Truckers where Nick and Jonathan met). Then we have Alex Marino on drums. a long time friend/brother to Nick and a great drummer(Alex is former drummer for One Sided Dice where Nick and Alex met). Rounding out the trio we have Nick Ewing-Pistelak on bass and backing vox. The three piece dynamic is unique, retro, new and familiar all at the same time. Jonathan's voice is reminiscent of early 90's alternative but ties to the 70's rock influences. The all tube tone growls, but doesn't bite. Stays smooth but pronounced. Alex's heavy handed, but controlled percussion is influenced by all things rock and roll. from tool to the stones, Alex's drumming is what ties the primal to the modern edge of rock. Nick's anti-bass attitude has him playing the bass as a rhythm guitarist would play a normal guitar. You can hear the early 90's punk/grunge sound with a modern rock bite. Somewhere between punk, grunge and classic rock is where the tone resides. A little bright and springy with some big ol'ampeg SVT tone. Together 3CH is ready to rock and will be hitting the studio soon to record their freshman album.
