Politics suck. I wanna see the government burn, but I have nothing against the people, for the most part. How many people vote? If you do or don't, why?

I don't vote, and maybe never will. The reason is because local politics are really pathetic, I mean, there isn't really any good option. In Mexico we have three "mayor" political groups: the right wing, the ultra right wing and the pseudo left wing, first ones (PRI, something like "institutional revolutionary party") were 70 consecutive years in the big chair, mainly based on scams and taking people to vote... obviously for their candidate! The other group (PAN, something like "national action party") replaced PRI, with Vicente Fox, this dude is really a crooked moron, giving "special rights" to people in his family, made a fortune while he was in charge, plus, the "Jose Luis Borgues" shit and all the stupid things this clown said in his period, not to mention most (if not all) states governed by the PAN are extremely repressive, they ban rock shows, promote christian values and support cleric leaders' point of view, I almost forgot Mario Marin and his pederast friend Kamel Nacif, pair of fucking assholes. And there we have the PRD ("democratic revolution party" or something like that), these fuckups are some kind of communist spin-off, yeah they want to help the poor and look for equality among people, the downside: they follow fascist guidelines, they want to impose their point of view, just their argument are valid... not really democratic eh? Also, they have strong problems inside their own party, so, how do they expect to take care of national issues when they can't solve their own?

Yeah there are small factions, but those chicken shits choose to ally with the "mayors" to stay alive for another six years. I could use my right to vote and make it invalid, but that's a big fucking waste of time. I don't know how's the politic scene in other countries, but one thing is sure: assholes are everywhere, and I won't help these people to screw many lives and to fuck even more this country, these fuckers only want to make money and play cops and thieves with drug lords, I'll vote when one bastard politician put crooked cops in jail, shut the priest's mouth, legalize and regulate drugs, stop corruption at all levels and have a real plan to take this country out of the big stinky pile of shit we are stuck on.

hell yeah! I totally feel you man. Here though, your vote doesn't even count. It's pointless because once you cast your ballad, it goes to a group called the electoral college, and whoever wins among the people is just a suggestion for who they should pick. So yeah, Fuck government, period, cuz there is no ideal ruler, y'know?

That's right, there's no fucking way to do things right, if someone helps the working class the middle class will say "what the fuck?", while the rich bastards pull the strings to stop the cash and put it in their own pockets, with help of the politicians in charge.

I think everyone should be out there on their own, not depending on what the president or a group of puppets think is better for everyone... oh wait, isn't that anarchism? But I guess that's why it's called utopia, because it will never work, not even at small scale, people is dumb by nature. We're all doomed.

lol, correction, A person is smart, people are dumb. Anarchy worked in Italy until Mousolini came in and fucked it up, but I say everyone should work for what they get. You don't work, you don't eat. Decisions should be made by the person himself. I fully support Anarchy, cuz it is the best. It's the only system that could ever, and has ever, worked.

Holly shit I didn't noticed this was also a grammar forum! Just kidding, typos and shit happen. Yes, that's the way this crap should work, but it will never happen, how can somebody think about anarchism when we live in a capitalist system? listen an anarcho-punk band from your sony stereo or an ipod?... but that's kind of off-topic, this is supposed to be about who votes and who doesn't.

PS: It's Benito Mussolini, with double "s".

lol, sorry, I was typing fast. But yeah, I totally see your point. This whole fucking country is about to drive me to be a hermit though. And just because you listen to music on an expensive sterio doesn't mean that you can't support anarchism. Just because there's no government, that doesn't mean that nothing will get done. Like I said, work for what you get? You don't necessarily need everyone working with food all the time. There's still time for leisure

FYI- some states are actually changing their voting laws saw the popular vote is the only vote.

I vote. I try to pick the lesser of two evils. I haven't seen a politician whom I can truly endorse. They are just that - professional politicians who do what ever they can to advance their own carriers - rather than statesmen, who practice the art of state craft.

The reason that most politicians are so untrustworthy, in my opinion, is b/c they were born rich. They never really have to do any real work, y'know? It's hard to pick someone who doesn't understand middle and lower class citizens.
and yes, burn D.C. It needs to happen
